Registration Information

How to sign up, pay team fees, schedule practice, and choose a classification.

Register for Leagues & Tournaments

Coaches or team managers should fill out one Team Registration Form for their entire team. Registration packets and forms are available online or from our office. Type or neatly write in all required fields. Submit all forms and fees by the registration deadline.

Send forms to register@softballcityusa.com. Paper forms may also be mailed or hand-delivered during regular business hours to our office.

League openings are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though teams may reserve a spot with the appropriate forms, deposit, and installment fee.

Fee Payments

All accounts must be paid in full by the registration deadline, or a team’s position may not be held.

Payment Methods

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Cash
  • Check (payable to City of Salem)

Cash payments must be made in person. Credit cards must be used online or in person. To arrange for online payments through SPLASH, first-time users should call our office at 503-588-6261.

Paying in Installments

League fees may be paid in full at the time of registration or may be paid in installments. If paying in installments, a minimum deposit of $300 and an installment fee of $200 are due at the time of registration.

Team fees for six-week leagues must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Late Fees

Late registrations and accounts not paid in full by the entry deadline will incur an additional late fee.

Refunds

There is a $75 charge on all refunds. Refunds will not be granted after the entry deadline.

Team Practice

Individual teams may reserve field space at the complex for team practices, if space allows and fields are playable. Practices are scheduled in one-hour increments. Fees are $15 per hour. All team practice participants must be registered and listed on the team’s active roster. Participants must sign a release waiver and provide photo identification.

All league games postponed due to rain-outs will be rescheduled at the end of the regular season. We send out alerts of game cancellations or postponements to our email subscribers. Please sign up to get rain-out notices. Current rain-out information will also be posted at Teamsideline.com/Salem, or it may be obtained by calling 503-362-1396.
